The hydrogen car runs on distilled water which has hydrogen and oxygen in it. The name of the hydrogen car I used in my project was called fuel cell 10.

If you'r wondering why people are making hydrogen cars is because, people wanted to make a car that runs on something besides gas so they came up with the hydrogen car, a car that runs on hydrogen gas. But when I say the hydrogen car runs on hydrogen gas I mean hydrogen gas not like car gas as in gasoline.
